Single item or Gadget 5 and 5+ plans

There are two main types of cover. There's individual phone cover or Gadget 5, which covers up to five gadgets with a value of less than £500 each, for around three times the single item cover premium.

There's also a higher level for more expensive gadgets – Gadget 5+ -- where the value of each individual gadget can be up to £1000.

You might think five gadgets is a high number. But with many people buying tablets like the iPad in addition to, rather than instead of, smartphones, laptops or notebooks, the numbers quickly add up.
